2013 Offerings and Price List

Listed below are the items I am offering for 2013.  Being a home baker, I work on orders only and do not have a standing inventory of pies and such for pick up at any given time. Homemade takes time… please plan accordingly.

Please remember, I am always happy to bake your pie or dessert in your own dish.  I am also always open to trying new things.  If what you're after isn't listed here, let's discuss it and see if we can work something out.

All prices are subject to change and are dependant on availability and cost of ingredients.  I will update this list as necessary.

All the pictures you see are my own and taken by me (with the exception of the Four Berry Pie pictures. My friend, Kelly, took those for me).  Please do not copy them for your own use as they are copyrighted material.

Pies

Blueberry Pie - $18
This pie is loaded with fresh blueberries and is really just quite delicious.  And that's all I have to say about that. (Best when blueberries are in season: summer)

Fat Apple Pie - $18
Named for how piled high the pie is with apples (5 pounds of apples, to be exact). My family can't have Thanksgiving without this pie. (This pie does best in a deep dish pie plate rather than my disposable aluminum pans.  If you have a pie dish that I can use for your apple pie, we will both be most pleased with the results.)

Old Fashioned Pecan Pie - $20
This pecan pie is probably different from most that you've had before. Instead of being made with "Karo" corn syrup, it's made with maple syrup and molasses. Therefore, it’s probably closer to your great-grandmother’s pecan pie than your mom’s.

Strawberry Pie - $18
Large and in season sweet strawberry halves fill a pastry crust and are surrounded by a lightly sweetened strawberry puree glaze. Sold without the whipped cream. Or as my husband would say, "Nom nom nom nom."

Four Berry Pie - $18
A combination of blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries in a graham cracker crust.  Sold without the whipped cream. Limited to when the berries are in season (summer).

Sweet Cherry Pie - $18
No canned cherries here.  My Sweet Cherry Pie, originally made for my Sweetie, includes hand pitted fresh cherries when they are in season.  In consideration of full disclosure, if it is ordered when cherries are not in season, frozen cherries may be used.  But never, ever, ever canned.

Cakes
Ms. Fran’s Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake - $18
This chocolate chocolate-chip bundt cake, spiked with a little Amaretto, is the family recipe of one of my best friends.  Her mom, Ms. Fran to me, certainly knew what she was doing.  (The Amaretto can be excluded upon request.)

Cranberry-Orange Oatmeal Cookies - $5/1 dozen; $9/2 dozen
I love the combination of cranberry and orange. This is an especially great combination around the holidays. And it’s oatmeal, so it’s healthy. Right? RIGHT?!?

Other Desserts
Sweet Cherry Cobbler - $15

Granny Smith Cobbler with White Cheddar Biscuits - $15

Breads and Breakfast Treats
Chocolate Cherry Bread (per loaf) - $8
We first discovered this amazing treat at Central Market one Valentine's Day after a trip to the urgent care clinic after an unfortunate encounter between my fingertip and a knife. I then had to figure out how to make it myself. My version is a chocolate bread loaded with dried cherries and chocolate chips.

Dinner Rolls (12) – $6

Sourdough Bread (2 small boules or 1 large boule) – $4
Sourdough bread takes a couple of days to make from start to finish.  I will generally have a few loaves available on Fridays.  To guarantee yours, please place an order with me by Wednesday.

Cinnamon Rolls (6) - $9
These tender cinnamon rolls are ginormous and have just a hint of an orange flavor.  They are my homemade answer to the canned orange cinnamon rolls that my family loves.  I’ll give them to you with the glaze separate so that you can determine how much you want on your rolls.

Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread - $4Loaded with both cinnamon and raisins, this bread is perfect for when you are hosting a brunch, a special holiday breakfast treat, or, as in the case of our family, any old time at all when you just want a snack.

Blueberry Muffins (12) - $9

Cinnamon Muffins (12) - $9
Ridiculously loaded with a cinnamon layer in the middle, cinnamon chips and a streusel topping.

Chocolate Muffins (12) - $9
A favorite of my daughter’s on swim meet weekends. I’ve worked to develop a recipe that I felt was at least somewhat healthy but still had good chocolate flavor.  These muffins boast ground oats and whole wheat flour along with the regular white flour.  They also have chocolate chips.
